| MHF Team  | Matt Hampson - Founder Since his accident during an England rugby training session, Matt has battled hard to live as normal a life as possible. It is testament to him that he has decided to start the Foundation so that others who have suffered catastrophic injury through sport can receive assistance. As well as his Foundation duties which include, visiting, mentoring and providing advice, Matt delivers inspirational talks to young people around the country. In conjunction with Paul Kimmage, Matt has produced a book, ‘Engage’ which describe the circumstances surrounding his accident and subsequent rehabilitation. He is also a forward coach at Oakham School, an ambassador of the RFU injured Players Fund and the RPA, Patron of the Special Effects charity and has written articles for the Leicester Mercury, Rugby World and Sky News. Matt lives in Leicestershire in a barn converted by his dad Phil. |  | Tommy Cawston - Managing Director After leaving school Tommy worked in Knightsbridge, London as a personal trainer, he studied business at Bournemouth and later undertook a degree in physiotherapy. After leaving University, Tommy worked with Leicester Tigers as a Community Physio before joining Matt to assist in the running of his burgeoning business and charity interests. Tommy has been working for the Foundation since its inception as a Trust in 2007 and after a period of working as the Foundation Managing Executive, he was promoted to Managing Director with responsibility for the day to day management of the Foundation. Tommy lives in Northamptonshire and is married to Katie and has a daughter Lucie. During his career with the Print People Group, he gained major experience in all aspects of printing and design. Tony met Matt whilst working on his web-site and designing other items such as the annual calendar. After taking redundancy and setting up his own design business, he found that the Foundation was taking up the majority of his time; it was at this point that Matt invited Tony to work full time with him. Tony admits that it's been the most fun, rewarding and varied job he’s ever had, which he says ‘doesn't make it a job’. He is married to Sarah with whom he has two young boys. Jane and husband Glen sit on the walk committee and are instrumental in the successful running of the event each year. Jane, previously a Primary School Teacher for nearly 20 years, decided to take the big step and work for Matt’s foundation in 2010 and she now successfully administers the day to day work of the charity and associated events.
