Roy Jackson


Roy Jackson - Chairman and Founding Trustee
Roy spent all his working life in the printing industry where he owned and ran a hugely successful reprographics company. He was Deputy Chairman of the Leicestershire & Rutland Prince's Trust Board and has been associated with Leicester Tigers since 1982, he is a Past President and now a Non-Executive Director of the club.  Roy is great friends with Matt and his family and is without doubt the driving force behind the Foundation and its works.

 

Frances Dickens


Frances Dickens - Founding Trustee
Frances is  the Global CEO of Astus Group, a world leading Media Barter Agency based in London, Sydney and the Far East.  Frances has worked in the Media industry for over 30 years.  She has an interest in all sports especially Rugby, Cricket and Equestrianism, a sport in which she competed as an event rider.  Frances supports several charities and has sat as a member on the benefit committees of a number of high profile sportsmen.
Sir Clive Woodward


Sir Clive Woodward - Trustee
Clive led England to Rugby World Cup glory as head coach in 2003 and was knighted soon afterwards. He made 148 appearances as a player for Leicester Tigers between 1979 and 1985. He was capped 21 times by England and toured with the British and Irish Lions. After coaching the Lions in 2005 he became performance director and then director of football at Southampton FC. In 2006 he was appointed director of sport for the British Olympic Association.



Peter Harrison - Trustee
Peter spent 20 years with up-market retailer Allders before setting up the Furniture Village brand in 1989, since then he has overseen excellent growth and the company now boasts 36 stores nationwide. Peter’s ethos of quality products, putting the customer first and his own leadership have won the company accolades and awards and it is rightly known for its market leading position in the sector.  Peter is a self- confessed rugby nut and he is also known for supporting several charities including Sports Aid which provides funding for up-coming young athletes.
Digby, Lord Jones


Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham Kt - Trustee
Digby is a lawyer who, after 20 years in Corporate Law, served from 2000 to 2006 as Director-General of the CBI, moving in 2007 into the House of Lords as Minister of State for Trade & Investment. He now sits as an Independent Peer on the Crossbenches. He chairs the International Advisory Board of HSBC, the Advisory Board of the Jaguar Academy of Sport & UK SportAccord 2011. He is Chairman of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, Neutrino Concepts Ltd and Trademobile Ltd. He is a Senior Corporate Advisor to Babcock International Group plc and Monitise plc.
Graham Rowntree
Graham Rowntree - Trustee
Graham made his debut for Leicester tigers in 1988 and shared in 5 Premiership titles and appeared in four cup and three Heineken finals with the club.  He made his England debut against Scotland in 1995 and went on to earn 54 caps.  He also represented the British Lions in 3 test matches.  After retiring Graham became a member of the Tigers coaching staff and joined the England National Academy set-up in 2007, he became Assistant England Coach in August 2008.
